Steps

1. Removing the old sealant

2. Removing residues left from the old sealant and properly cleaning

This step is simple, but yet essential. In fact, residues from the old caulking could prevent the new from well bonding or premature cracking with time. Therefore, with a simple brush and a cloth, we clean up the area to prepare for the following steps.

3. Fill in the gaps between the building and the doors and windows

When the spaces are too large between the building and the doors and windows, it must be filled by using backer rods to accommodate the application of the sealant. This step will allow better control the depth of the joints and give a better sustainability. It is also used to isolate to an intensity of R8.

4. Application of the sealant to the joints
